ANNUAL CONFERENCE
MiP's annual conference gives members the opportunity to meet with other healthcare managers , policy makers and opinion shapers to discuss healthcare policy and employment practices.
The 2011 MiP conference was held in London on 23 November. Over 250 delegates heard from a great line up of speakers. David Nicholson gave a heads up on the Operating Framework, published the following day. Brendan Barber, TUC General Secretary, joined Jon Restell to report on the current state of play in the pension negotiations. Delegates also enjoyed a range of masterclasses covering leadership, equality, staff engagement and patient pathways, and our speednetworking gave delegates the chance to hear about current thinking on patient and public engagement, including social networking, surveys and political lobbying.
