Health Education England wants to hear your views on their strategic intent
Health Education England was set up as an autonomous national body to provide system wide leadership and oversight of workforce planning, education and training for the whole healthcare workforce. They will be responsible, through the Local Education and Training Boards, for ensuring we have the right number of staff, with the right skills, values and behaviours to deliver high quality, compassionate care.
HEE has been working in partnership with MiP and the other health unions to make the transfer of staff into HEE and the LETBs as smooth as possible. We are setting up a partnership forum to carry that work forward in the new organisation. And HEE want to hear your views, as healthcare staff, about how they should develop their strategic business priorities, as set out in their Strategic Intent.
You can respond directly to HEE at HEE.StrategicIntentFeedback@nhs.net by 31 March 2013. If you would like to feed into MiP’s comments on the strategic intent, or if you have any general queries about policies and procedures in HEE or the LETBs, please contact Marisa Howes, at m.howes@miphealth.org.uk
