You may have been expecting an increase in your take home pay this month but that won’t happen for most NHS managers
As reported here a few weeks ago, NHS employees have received a 1% increase in their pay from April. However, pension contributions have also been increased as part of the government’s austerity measures. So take home pay for most NHS managers has actually gone down again.

Handbook revised to incorporate important changes to terms and conditions
This new edition of the handbook incorporates the changes agreed by the Staff Council affecting pay progression and the management of sickness absence in England, as well as the injury benefit scheme and new pay rates applicable across the UK.
