Improving organisational culture will become ever more important as the NHS begins the massive work ahead on post-pandemic recovery.
It includes an introduction to the key concepts and links to relevant research, an outline of the issues for the key population groups facing discrimination and disadvantage and practical advice about what managers can do to promote equality and foster inclusion.
This short guide focuses on how MiP and its members can contribute to ensuring change management is done well.
At the heart of successful change management is the ability to carry the workforce. Whatever the drivers of change, this is essential.
The guide includes: an introduction to models of change management, principles of good practice and an overview of common problems. It also includes references to relevant initiatives across the UK and practical advice on what managers can do to ensure change is carried out effectively, fairly, and in a open and consultative way.
