Nominations are now open for the election of members to MiP’s National Committee to serve from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2021.
MiP National Committee members represent geographical constituencies and members can only stand for election in the constituency in which they work and they must have been a member for at least 13 weeks from the date nominations opened – 23 August 2019. If are interested in standing for election, please read our guidance note on the nomination and election process. You can then download a nomination form from our website. A candidate may also write a written election address of not more than 250 words, without pictures. You will need to return your nomination forms and election address to the chief executive by 5pm on 7 October 2019.
If you would like to experience what being a committee member involves before seeking nomination, you are welcome to attend our next National Committee meeting in person or by phone.
