Events & Training
MiP runs a series of networking events and training courses around the country to enable you to influence and be involved in the union. These include:
- MiP Members’ Summit
- Masterclasses and seminars
- Regional networking events
- Training for MiP link members and reps
As full members of both the FDA and UNISON, you can also take part in events organised by both unions, and take advantage of all the learning opportunities offered by UNISON Member Learning and FDA Learn.
There is also discounted access to healthcare conferences and Open University Courses. MiP has joined forces with the Open University to offer accredited learning courses at special discounted rates – with qualifications ranging from certificates to a full Masters degree. There is a range of healthcare-related courses and many more, covering subjects such as employment law, finance, management and leadership. Visit the Open University’s MiP page for more details.
