The Sharp End

The Sharp End enables health and care managers to tell politicians, civil servants, journalists and system leaders, in safety and with complete honesty, how the policies and strategies set by ministers, government health bodies and chief executives play out at the front line.

We work with managers to produce these articles, ensuring that they faithfully reflect your views and protect your anonymity, and then seek wider distribution to reach key decision-makers – often through the Guardian’s Views from the NHS Frontline columns. And we seek to highlight both those policies and strategies that help you do your jobs and achieve your goals, and those which produce perverse incentives, conflict or waste.

If you might be willing to work with us to produce a Sharp End column, please contact us at thesharpend@healthcare-manager.co.uk from a personal email address.
