Tell us what you think about the exit payments cap

The government is holding a consultation on the cap exit payments cap. The 2016 Enterprise Act provided for a cap of £95,000 on exit payments in the public sector, including the NHS. The consultation sets out how the government proposed to implement the cap, and included the proposed draft regulations, the schedule to the regulations, accompanying guidance and directions.
The government is now asking for comments on the draft regulations. MiP and its members have strong views on this unfair cap and we will be responding to the consultation. If you have views you would like to share with us , please let us know by Friday 7 June.
Please email your comments to our policy and communications officer, Mercedes Broadbent, at m.broadbent@miphealth.org.uk.
