MiP congratulates new NHS England chief executive
Congratulating Amanda Pritchard on her appointment as the new chief executive of NHS England, Jon Restell, MiP chief executive, said:
“It will bring confidence to NHS managers that the next NHS chief executive will be someone with a substantial track record in NHS management, including operational hospital management.
“In a key public service where 60% of managers are women, the appointment of the first woman as the chief executive of the NHS in England is a landmark moment.
“The NHS faces massive challenges that will only be met by great management. There are opportunities to create a more positive climate for managers, and MiP looks forward to working with Amanda Pritchard in her new role.”
