Creating a healthy workplace: MiP’s guide to organisational culture
MiP is today launching our guide on organisational culture: Creating a healthy workplace. This is the first of three new guides intended for MiP members as managers, representatives, and individuals. The next two guides will be on equality and diversity and managing change.
The guide is intended as an introduction to organisational culture, including an overview of key concepts, and provides signposts to frameworks, resources, and sources of information and advice. The guide to equality and diversity will be released later this year.
Organisational culture is consistently raised by MiP members as a hugely significant issue, and improving organisational culture will become more important than ever as the NHS begins the massive work ahead on post-pandemic recovery.
We hope that you will use this guide to have both structured and informal discussions in your workplace about making the NHS the best workplace in the UK. If you are interested in getting involved in culture change in your workplace, please contact your national officer.
